I drew these for use in my homework
Last year’s San Diego Comic Con brought us some early insight into the plot of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and this year’s will certainly bring some new stuff we can get excited about. While a sequel to the movie hasn’t been greenlit (yet?), we can look forward to two panels that will bring us some fascinating new material from both Dreamworks Animation and Rocky & Friends. Here’s the info on the two panels:
Thursday, July 24, from 11:30am to 1:00pm PST
It has been confirmed by sources outside the official SDCC website that The Penguins of Madagascar will be the main focus of the panel, alongside Home. TPOM actors Benedict Cumberbatch, John Malkovich, Tom McGrath, along with Penguins directors Simon J. Smith and Eric Darnell and Home director Tim Johnson, will lead the panel.
And there’s also a separate panel for the official premiere of the Rocky & Bullwinkle short.
Rocky and Bullwinkle Short U.S. Premiere & Panel
Friday, July 25 from 11:30am to 12:30pm PST
In celebration of the 55th anniversary of Rocky and Bullwinkle, join Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation for the U.S. premiere of a new Rocky and Bullwinkle short that will appear on the upcoming release of Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Blu-ray and DVD on October 14. Director Gary Trousdale (Beauty and the Beast) and executive producer and Bullwinkle Studios president Tiffany Ward (daughter of Jay Ward) discuss the film and the legacy of Rocky and Bullwinkle on animation, followed by a Q&A session moderated by film critic and animation expert Leonard Maltin (Of Mice and Magic).
The short stars Tom Kenny as Bullwinkle, June Foray as Rocky, Lauri Fraser as Natasha, and Robert Cait as Boris.
Unfortunately, I won’t be there to see the panels, but I will keep an eye out for anyone who might record them.
Huge thanks to ovarianeruption for the heads up on the panel info! Sorry I haven’t been as up to date as I usually am.
